The Third Script
‘The Third Script’ is a clay animation and paint on glass project about a man who goes on a spiritual journey to find the meaning of a human’s life on the earth. This piece is a contemplation on how much a person must give up personally to nourish a greater life force. As the story progresses, he finds out the more he knows, the less he knows. This project is a poetic and philosophical interpretation of Shams Tabrizi’s life (1185-1248), who is credited as the spiritual instructor of a Persian poet called Rumi (1207-1273). The lyrical narrative reflects the poetic quality of his life. Switching the clay animation to paint on glass aligns with his spiritual journey from external to internal and embraces his thoughts, his philosophy, and his teachings.
